CH Snow Ridge Chief's Spirit Moon JH
(DC AFC Behi Red Chief JH x Snow Ridge Sassy) We wanted a puppy from Sassy from the moment we met her. After Satch finished Skip wanted a bitch so we arranged to get the pick from Sassy's second litter. That pick quickly became known as the 'bitch from heck' when she rolled the neighbors' 3-month-old Lab within minutes of arriving home. She quickly learned that wasn't acceptable behavior. Actually, we couldn't ask for a sweeter dog than Abby. |

Abby started her show career by going reserve her first time in the ring at 6 months and by winning her class at Nationals. We thought she would be easy to finish. She had other ideas. The next year was a study in frustration as she quickly let us know this show stuff was boring. She finished the year with a grand total of 3 points. The next year we planned a lot of close shows to try to finish her before breeding her. Finish she did, earning her CH at 25 months of age with 4 straight majors. In the field Abby displays excellent style of running and pointing. She had a successful puppy/derby career, making the Top Ten in 2002, during which she taught us that letting a dog chase and catch was detrimental to getting her broke. We finally sent her to a pro and she has gotten around clean at a trial. Her biggest problem is she has almost too much drive but we haven't given up on her. She has 4 points towards her FC and 2 points towards her AFC. Abby's first litter with BISS DC AFC Triad's Dry Martini CD MH VC ROM, born in July, 2004, has been successful in both the show ring and the field. Over half the litter has placed in field trials (4 are pointed), 2 made the Puppy/Derby Top Ten, one made the Open Top Ten in 2007, one is a DC/AFC, 2 others are finished in the ring, one needs a major to finish, two have NAVDHA NA Prizes and one has a NSTRA placement. We have high hopes for her second litter, due 4/15/08, with BISS DC AFC Riverbend Deacon's Dandy CD VC ROM HOF.
