Jaks was supposed to go to a new home along with his littermates.  However, I refused to let him go to a pet home and knew I couldn't let him go if he hung around while I waited for a competition home to materialize.  So, the puppy that spoke to me from birth, the one known as the ornery puppy, the one we were told would be trouble for someone, stayed and we couldn't be happier.  

Jaks' major accomplishments:

• #3 on the VCA Top Ten Puppy Derby list in 2006

• First gun dog placement - October 2006, AGD major win

• 3rd of 37 in Open Gun Dog - all-breed trial - March, 2007

• AFC at 2 years of age - May 2007

• CH the week after earning AFC

• Judge's Award of Merit at the Show Me Vizsla specialty - August, 2007

• FC one year after gun dog debut making him a Dual Champion (DC)

• Show Me Vizsla Club Amateur Gun Dog of the Year - 2007
